It is so refreshing to know there are still reputable businesses that are professional too! Sun -Up Construction replaced 4 Velux skylights for us. They were on time, respectful of our property, very thorough in providing warranties and paper work and then explaining to us how they would proceed. They were so organized, efficient and clean! They had a fair price and completed all of the work in a timely manner. We highly recommend them! You will not be disappointed!

We are very pleased with our new skylights and how the project was organized, completed and cleaned up after. The crew chief was a great explainer and the team was efficient. The product is light years ahead of the leaky skylights that were replaced. We can keep the new ones open through the night to cool the house, knowing they'll close themselves if it rains. The shades in the daytime also provide sun protection when we need it. A very pleasant experience and upgrade.

Today Sun-Up replaced a 32 year old skylight in my kitchen. The whole experience was a wonderful experience. Craig came for estimate in a timely manner and was so knowledgeable, personable and helpful. We ordered the skylight with solar shade and it was installed within a week of ordering! Craig and his team replaced two skylights for us in October of 2023. All aspects of installation and scheduling were very prompt and professional, there was no mess afterward and the new skylights looked and functioned great. I never wrote a review then because I wanted to see how much of an improvement they were from my old skylights. Last winter we no longer had condensation dripping of the windows on cold days and our kitchen maintained temperature better. The summer was were we noticed the biggest difference. Having the ability to open them easily keeps our house cooler on days when we don't have the AC on. On hot days our kitchen stays cooler than it ever has from a combo of the better quality of the skylight and blinds that can be easily lowered. I just wish I had called them years ago when I thought our skylights needed replaced instead of waiting for a leak to happen.

To say that I’m happy with my new skylight and sun tunnel is an understatement! I replaced a 30+ year old skylight that was potentially causing leaks in my kitchen, and added a sun tunnel to a dark, windowless main bathroom. If anyone is questioning whether they REALLY need a sun tunnel, it is worth every penny. The guys from Sun Up were great, knowledgeable, and at the end of the install you wouldn’t have even known they were here. The place was so clean! There was an issue with the motor on the new skylight, but they worked diligently to fix it, and it’s been all good since. You can tell that this company is passionate about what they do. All this hard rain that we’ve had, and I’ve had no leaks, so fingers crossed that the new skylight has fixed that issue. I’m still walking past my bathroom thinking I need to turn the light off, it’s so bright in there now. I love it! Do not hesitate to go with Sun Up!

We had a 30-year-old skylight replaced. From initial visit to installation completion, their response was super. The installation crew was here right on time as scheduled and completed the job in 2 and 1/2 hours. When they left, except for the new skylight, you would never know that they had been here. We have used Craig and Sun-Up for two installs (including a sun tunnel which we upgraded to solar) and they always deliver excellent quality and results. We upgraded our original kitchen skylight to a solar one that will automatically close if it starts raining! The trim and shade are more attractive than the previous one and are a more modern style. The Solar Skylight tunnel in the bathroom is amazing! Am so pleased that there is a tax incentive right now that will save us lots of money, too. Highly recommend these professionals!

4 years ago we had Sun Up Construction install a triple skylight with solar shade in our kitchen. We immediately recognized savings on our utilities keeping the shade open in the winter & closing it in the heat of the day during summer. I would recommend Sun-up construction Inc. They arrived early, placed a tarp to collect any droppings (there weren't any), replaced the skylight quickly. They were polite and explained everything to me.

Craig and his 3 man crew removed and replaced 4 old acrylic skylights on my home with new insulated glass Velux skylights. The replacement not only increased the amount of outside light into our home but has brightened the wall colors and carpeting. Everything looks clear and fresh again. Additionally they installed a Sun Tunnel into a dark interior hallway that we previously needed to burn the ceiling light all day to illuminate it. That 10" diameter Sun Tunnel now casts an incredible amount of illumination even on cloudy days. I am very impressed. Our existing skylights were old and leaked. Craig and his crew came and examined them and proposed a solution. When it was time to install our new skylights, Craig's crew arrived on time and asked to enter our home, complete with masks, to install drop cloths under the skylights to catch any debris. The installation was completed in only a couple hours and the crew vacuumed any debris that had fallen into our rooms before they left.

We decided to replace all of the existing skylights in our home due to the age. We had fixed skylights, some without shades. When Sun Up looked at our project, they suggested solar powered shades and some automatic venting skylights. Sun Up worked with us to get the right skylights installed at a good price. They were very professional with the installation, and meticulous about the cleanup. We are very happy with the new Velux skylights, and especially glad that they made the suggestion for the solar products. The Velux app for controlling the skylights was like a bonus. I had signed an agreement with SUN-UP Construction to replace my skylights that were glass block, they were very heavy and leaking, they arrived at 7 a.m. to start the job and was completed by 1 p.m. The work was top-notch and the guys were very professional and made short work of a very difficult job. Several things that attracted me to velux skylights, 1. The 10 year warranty on installation labor and 20 year warranty on the skylights.

We discovered Sun Up Construction at the Home Show at the Convention Center. They came out shortly afterwards to measure the 5 skylights we were interested in replacing. Then Covid hit and everything came to a standstill for a couple months. Once reopened, we were quickly scheduled. On the day of installation, Craig, Paul & Adam arrived punctually and in a short 6 hours had all 5 skylights replaced and their work area cleaned up. They were courteous, wore masks while taking care of what needed done inside and clearly explained the remote and how to get our tax rebate. We would definitely do business with them again in the future.

Our 20 year old home has two skylights that were installed when the home was built. My wife and I had been researching having the skylights replaced with new ones that would open to allow airflow in the second floor. I found SUN-UP Construction, Inc. and decided to drive to their office in Wexford, PA. for more information. When I arrived, I met with Craig, the owner, who took time to explain what was involved in the replacements. After deciding to have Craig and his team (Paul/Adam/Laurie) replace the old skylights, COVID-19 came along and we had to wait until June for the new skylights. The wait, however, was worth it. Craig and his crew came to our home on time and went right to work. Within four hours we had two new skylights what open with solar power and have sun blocking shades. The final product was exactly what we wanted. We have been keeping the skylights open at night allowing the cool air to enter the house. What a difference. Replaced a leaky 25 years old skylight. Great help at a critical time.

We had two skylights replaced on our deck due to some leakage and having had for about 25 years. They came in a timely manner, finished in the time they said, cleaned up well. They were very professional in their work they did and behavior. We had our first rain storm since then and now no leaks and we can see the actual sky. I highly recommend this company for your sky lights. This is all they do.

Two out of three of my old skylights were leaking. I called a few places and no one would help until I called Sun-Up. Craig and team were very nice and answered all of my questions. They did an excellent job and cleaned up afterwards. Craig didn't try to sell me the third skylight that didn't need to be replaced. In fact, he told me he wouldn't even worry about right now. I will definitely be calling them to replace it when the time comes. I'm always afraid I'll be taken advantage of when I need repairs. Not so with Sun-Up. Sun Up replaced three large 27 year old Pella skylights earlier in October. Craig and his crew did an outstanding job. They were professional, efficient and courteous in every way. They were able to save the interior wood trim around the openings in the cathedral ceiling that I asked them to try to do. On the exterior, they placed flashing and ice guard around them and replaced the shingles with new ones. They are experts when it comes to installing skylights. I would recommend them to anyone who needs skylights installed new or replaced. You won't go wrong. I am very pleased with the job that they did.

They were in and out in no time and there wasn’t a speck of debris left anywhere for me to have to clean up. They even came out to tarp our skylights ahead of time while we waited for our installation date. Communication with Craig was simple and responses to my emails were very timely. Great experience with Sun-Up construction. Had an old leaking sky-light and two others showing their age so I needed to replace. Starting the process, Sun-Up is probably the most responsive contractor we've ever worked with - they were out to measure the day after we called. We had many questions and everything was always answered when I emailed within a day. Cost you ask? Competitive with the 3 contractors we talked to (and with much better response/service). Replacement day - these guys are machines. They arrived when they said they would and had the new skylights in within a few hours. They put down drop clothes to make sure to keep our carpet clean which was probably unnecessary but shows their professionalism. Our leaking skylight had some plywood that needed to be replaced which they did within the contracted price. The skylights - they look great and function great. We included blinds in ours and have them set on an automatic schedule which save us cooling the house. Top-of-the-line skylights from Velux so can't really go wrong here. Bottom Line: All contractors should follow this model. Good price, great service, great product. I couldn't recommend this company enough. But, honestly, see for yourself. Get a few quotes and you'll understand what I'm saying.

To say that I’m happy with my new skylight and sun tunnel is an understatement! I replaced a 30+ year old skylight that was potentially causing leaks in my kitchen, and added a sun tunnel to a dark, windowless main bathroom. If anyone is questioning whether they REALLY need a sun tunnel, it is worth every penny. The guys from Sun Up were great, knowledgeable, and at the end of the install you wouldn’t have even known they were here. The place was so clean! There was an issue with the motor on the new skylight, but they worked diligently to fix it, and it’s been all good since. You can tell that this company is passionate about what they do. All this hard rain that we’ve had, and I’ve had no leaks, so fingers crossed that the new skylight has fixed that issue. I’m still walking past my bathroom thinking I need to turn the light off, it’s so bright in there now. I love it! Do not hesitate to go with Sun Up!

I contacted Sun-Up Construction to install a Sun Tunnel in a dark hallway. They scheduled someone to come out and do an estimate. The person who did the estimate arrived on time, and then e-mailed me the quote. The numbers looked acceptable, so I agreed to get it done - all paperwork was done on line. A week or two later I got a call to schedule the install, which then happened a couple of weeks later - right on schedule. The install took a couple of hours or less. They cleaned up and left and now I have a bright sunny hallway during the day and a softly lit hallway at night, thanks to the "solar night light." It's great. Very pleased with Sun-Up construction.

Craig (mgr) came out promptly to our request for an estimate, and was very thorough, kind, and honest. He answered all of our questions and made things clear for us. When we asked to be put on the schedule when the weather permitted and his crew had time, he got back to us with a date within the next week. Our sun tunnels were put in by Paul and James, who were polite, friendly, and left everything clean. Our work was done within a span of three hours or less, on 2/5/24 and we've been super happy with the result!

We are new to PA and needed some natural light in our guest bath and laundry room. Sunup was great to work with. They communicated well and completed the work on time and cleaned up after themselves. They were patient while I decided where to create the sun tunnel and we are happy with the finished product. Our only critique is related to dealing with VELUX directly for the solar light lights. We have a defective light and in order to get it replaced, we had to submit a video of the light not working correctly. Not a big deal, but annoying nonetheless. We recommend Sunup, but we don’t necessarily look forward to working with VELUX for any warranty issues.

We have used Craig and Sun-Up for two installs (including a sun tunnel which we upgraded to solar) and they always deliver excellent quality and results. We upgraded our original kitchen skylight to a solar one that will automatically close if it starts raining! The trim and shade are more attractive than the previous one and are a more modern style. The Solar Skylight tunnel in the bathroom is amazing! Am so pleased that there is a tax incentive right now that will save us lots of money, too. Highly recommend these professionals!

A couple of years ago, we had two sun tunnels, put in our living room, and one in a dark and hallway. The difference was amazing and really cheered up the spaces. We just redid our bathroom and had to have a window taken out of the shower area, so it was very dark in the bathroom as well as in the small hallway outside of the bathroom. We put one sun tunnel in the hallway and one in the bathroom and the transformation was just what we needed. It will be great to not have to turn the lights on back there at night because of the night lights. It will save electricity because usually we would have the hall light on all night. I would highly recommend these great light sources. We have been very happy with our previous sentence and will enjoy these ones.

We love our sun tunnels, they completely changed the atmosphere of our dark dining room and filled it with wonderful natural light. The installation was fast and the crew outstanding.

Craig and his 3 man crew removed and replaced 4 old acrylic skylights on my home with new insulated glass Velux skylights. The replacement not only increased the amount of outside light into our home but has brightened the wall colors and carpeting. Everything looks clear and fresh again. Additionally they installed a Sun Tunnel into a dark interior hallway that we previously needed to burn the ceiling light all day to illuminate it. That 10" diameter Sun Tunnel now casts an incredible amount of illumination even on cloudy days. I am very impressed.
