So I called and Jim beat them all by 50% and more. He completed a Velux replacement, for less than what they wanted to block off the skylight opening! Call all you want first and then call Jim, his Honesty and Reliability will show through.

My experience with "Sky's The Limit" began in 2015 when Jim and Chris installed 3 new construction skylights on a 3 season porch roof. In spite of the supply chain delays happening in this day and age, Sky's the Limit (local rep in Plymouth, MA was Jim Sittig) was very responsive with letting me know the scheduling details. Once the 2 skylights I ordered were in, installation went very quickly and smoothly. I would definitely use their services again. Love the remote-controlled blinds in the skylights! And the fact that I can actually open them for the first time in 20 years with the remote button. Very pleased with the rebate offered on these as well. A++ product and service.

Jim and his partner were great to work with. From the buying process through the installation and brief training session, they were professionals. They showed up on time, protected all of our belongings, went quietly about their business, cleaned up the inside and outside spotlessly (not that they made any mess) and then provided a brief training on operation. There are "no limits" to the owners/operators, Jim and Chris, when it comes to their professionalism, the quality of their product, their workmanship, and their determination to provide every customer with complete satisfaction. Jim, definitely is a man of integrity, as well. He promised us that the solar replacement skylights would be installed in our sunroom/family room before Christmas, and they were. Jim was very knowledgeable and gave me a few options to replace my existing skylight. In the end, we agreed upon a duplicate replacement for the existing skylight which had to be custom ordered. From consultation to installation, Jim was knowledgeable, courteous, and kept me informed of all steps in the process. Highly recommend!!!

We highly recommend Sky's the Limit to anyone in need of Velux skylight installation. Chris and Jim replaced 5 of our 35 year old skylights for us over three days in hot summer weather, perfectly matching the roof shingles. We love our new windows with the solar-powered feature and remote-controlled interior blinds. Jim and Chris were prompt, courteous, tidy, and very accommodating, especially with respect to the Covid-19 virus restrictions. They even called us during their vacation to explain they were delayed due to the daily rainstorms in July. It's so nice to find businesses where the owners are the ones who do the work. Both the installation of our skylights and the upgrade to solar blinds several years later were done in a timely, top-quality, professional manner. I only wish all contractors were as reliable as Jim at Sky's the Limit.

We used Jim at Skys the Limit for 2 projects at 2 houses over a period of 10 years. First we replaced 2 skylights with shades 10 years ago. And at our new home he measured and installed solar powered honeycomb shades on 8 skylights. He is amazing. Having Sky’s the Limit replace an aging skylight could not have been a better experience. From the initial inquiry phone call to the finished job Jim was available and responsive, personable, knowledgeable about the VELUX product and so willing to answer my questions. We could not be happier with our experience with Sky's the Limit. Jim came out to Chatham within two days of my call for an estimate. He was informative about the process of replacing our 35-year-old skylight and clear on all options. He gave an email estimate within 3 days. It included 3 options, including explanation of the solar tax credit for 2 of the options. After talking to him, we chose a Velux with a solar-powered shade but without a feature to open the skylight. Because of the shut-down, the installation didn't happen until a month later than we all hoped, but within days of the release of restrictions, he called. Two days later he and his partner had the skylight installed in one day. They were professional and efficient. They did all clean up. The ceiling needed no patchwork or painting after they were done. It goes without saying, they know what they're doing. We are thrilled with the skylight and the shade feature, and very happy with the information he gave us early on to make the correct decision for our house and our needs. We had two Velux skylights replaced with solar when it was a fairly new item. Sky's The Limit did the installation. We were extremely happy with the product and even more so the installation. We decided to replace the last three skylights in the house with solar. No question of who to call. Sky's The Limit is efficient, thorough, and immaculate in both the installation and the clean-up. They were quick to respond to any question via email or phone. We have had a lot of work done to our home, but have never been able to post a superior rating. We won't hesitate to call them again for any future projects!

I worked with Sky's The Limit to deal with leaking skylights in my house that needed replacing. The communication, work, price all could not have been better. Really my only complaint would be that I didn't listen to Jim about installing skylight shades as well. I can always do that in the future though and I will be sure to use Sky's The Limit if I do.

We couldn't be happier with our new skylights. When we bought our home a few years ago, Jim and Chris did some maintenance on the existing original units. When it came time to replace them recently, I contacted Jim again, and got a quote. He quickly provided us with a detailed, comprehensive quote and scope of work, visited the house to work with us on product selection, showed great flexibility in working around our other contractor's schedule, and did a super job of installation (two skylights in one day). They were very respectful about working in and around our home, taking great care with protecting furniture and cleaning up, and spent all the time we needed to train us on our new remote controls. Jim and his colleague just installed 2 Velux curb-mounted skylights in my condo in preexisting skylight holes. I can't speak of their cost relative to other contractors, because I didn't have other quotes. The quality of their work was very high, in my opinion. They arrived when they said they would, did the work within their quoted amount, explained the configuration of the remote-controlled skylights and the tax reimbursement procedures, and cleaned up after themselves. I got the sense that they are very conscientious in their work, and the final product seems to show it. I highly recommend them.

I initially installed Velux Skylights in my home 23 years ago. At that time Jim was employed by Velux and provided outstanding customer service to my roofer. He explained the proper flashing installation procedures which resulted in a clean leak-free installation. As with any product, materials and technology change over time. With this said, I upgraded to the Solar Powered Skylights with Integra remote control. When it came time for installation I knew Jim was now in business as "Sky's the Limit" with partner Chris Mahoney. When I contacted them, they immediately provided a very thorough job proposal. Once on the job Jim and Chris dissected the existing roof and installed the new skylights in a meticulous and efficient manner. The fit and finishwork both inside and out was impeccable. When the job was complete you could not tell that they were ever at my home. The skylights are whisper quiet and the Integra remote effortlessly controls all skylight and blind controls.

We had a sun tunnel installed in each of our baths and are very happy with them. The installation took a few hours and Jim and his associate cleaned up any debris. The lights have made the windowless bath a much brighter room and added additional light to the other room with a north-facing window. I had a dark little bathroom/laundry room in the back of my house. I changed the toilet seat. I changed the pedestal sink to a cute usable vanity with new hardware. But it was still dark and small and windowless. I added a cute lamp and table. That helped. BUT when Sky’s the Limit added a SUN TUNNEL WITH SOLAR CELL???? Wow!! All the difference I needed. I haven’t needed a light on EVER.
