Mark Brusco and his coworkers installed nine skylights in my home several years ago and one recently developed a leak. Mark promptly got a service technician out to troubleshoot the problem and, after two visits, the problem was successfully identified and resolved at a reasonable price. Competent, prompt, reasonable, and friendly people. Highly recommend.

From beginning to end the SERVICE here was FANTASTIC and Price was under 1 thousand and the installers where very attentive. The installers let us know they would have to come back due to scratches in-between the glass so as to keep warranty they have to replace it. Used this company to replace the old-school 1986-installed, dome skylights in our living room and above the stairwell. (we could feel the wind blow in the winter, and the living room felt like a sauna in the summer). We were impressed with how fast someone was able to come out to give us an estimate-and he was honest and thorough in explaining our options and different-priced options. (He also didn't try to upsell us! Zero pressure!) We had gotten a few other estimates, and this one was much better priced, (one skylight was "custom fit" but they seemed to have more options for how to do it). The installers were fast, efficient, and cleaned up everything afterwards. We didn't have any issues or questions, but the office team was great about checking in throughout the process as well. We already have a VERY noticeable difference in the temperature in the main level of our house, and are looking forward to it showing up in our a/c and heating bills.

My living room skylight broke during a terrible hail storm at the end of May. I first called a competitor, and they quoted me $500 more than Skylight Specialists. Everyone at this company was super friendly and communicative. After I signed the agreement, someone was going to get back to me in 3-5 business days to schedule the install. 2 days after I signed, they called to tell me someone was going to be installing a skylight in my area, and they could just do it that same day if it worked. Skylight specialist were totally professional, on time, on schedule, and cleaned up inside and out. They did a great job of protect the inside room with plastic sheeting which kept the dust to a minimum. Very pleased with the amount of light brought into a dark space. And the solar blinds are perfect.

I an old cracked dome skylight that was water to come in to my ceiling and wall. The dimensions of my skylight were kind of unique. David A. set up my initial consultation and took a deposit for the fabrication of the skylight. About a month later, Nick and Carlos showed up to my house at 7:30am and completed the job by 10:30am. Now I’m looking forward to some rain to test out the waterproofing of the skylight. Also looking forward to the energy savings from the double glass pane skylight. Thanks Skylight Specialists

Our 1983 built home had the original dome shaped acrylic skylights that allowed for great sunlight to pour in to our top floor, but they were seriously inefficient - allowing heat to escape in winter and creating almost a greenhouse effect in summer. Allison was great in explaining what products would help with this problem. She came out to evaluate our windows and how her team could access the roof for replacement skylights. The installation team was very impressive -thorough, tidy, very respectful of their work space and our home. They completed all three windows in one day and my family noticed the difference immediately. Our central AC is no longer competing with the heat generated by those dome windows. And on cooler nights the remote controlled windows immediately allow extra heat to quickly escape. The climate control and energy efficiency of these windows makes me wish we had done this last summer, but grateful we didn’t wait another year before investing in this upgrade. We are in New Mexico and Skylight Specialists have a thin operation here. Nonetheless. their service was excellent and thorough. We needed to replace damaged and badly outdated Velux skylights. They responded to an overhead request, followed through, offered best solutions from currently available options and completed the work despite complications and delays. The delays put us up against a time stop due to travel, and Skylight found the flexibility to get it done. Special thanks to Mason, our installer, who went to personal lengths to accommodate our schedule. Four stars instead of five only, repeat only, because the service at a distance -- Colorado to New Mexico -- made timeliness less than ideal. Quality and responsiveness: five stars for sure. The schedule kept changing due to circumstances beyond our control and Skylight Specialists were amazingly patient and kept my job at the top of the list. My project manager, Josh, was very communicative and absolutely great to work with! When the day came for installation, Nick and John were on time and very well versed in their craft. My job had some last minute additions and they made sure to have the additional skylights and solar tunnels needed . I was kept informed and they cleaned the area well before they left. Can’t say enough positive things about this company. They know what they’re doing!

Skylight Specialists were very professional and responsive to any questions. The work was completed in a timely manner (replace 2 existing skylights) with new 2021 IRC compliant skylights. They are a “Certified Installer” for Velux skylights which is a big plus for using SS. Recommend SS highly.

I called Skylight Specialist just to inquire about replacing a cracked skylight that my wife and I had been dealing with for over half a year. I was pleasantly surprised to be talking with very competent people that were more than happy to come out and look at the potential job, take measurements and give me an estimate the very next day. In less than a week, my wife and I were enjoying TWO new skylights that had been skillfully installed in here home office, in less than an hour. The new gas filled, flat glass skylights replaced plastic domes that were outdated and very energy inefficient. They are beautiful and we couldn’t be more happy. We recently had Skylight Specialists install a 2’x4’ Velux skylight in our kitchen, which was dark in the morning. The results were transformational; the area is now bathed in light and far more pleasant than it had been. From the Salesperson to the Techs, this was a wonderful experience. All were professional and friendly. Caden and Jared were the techs and worked non-stop to get it just right which wasn’t an easy job as it was difficult getting the sun-tubes to fit between the joists. They replaced 4 old 12” tubes with 14” tubes. Jared came back the following day as he was determined to make it perfect and worked for hours to achieve this goal. It’s not always pleasant working with contractors but the people at Skylights Specialists make it easy! I highly recommend this company!

We had them out for an emergency cover after the huge hail storm in Littleton and they were able to squeeze us in same day even with it being towards the end of their work hours. Skylight specialists replaced our old acrylic dome skylights with Velux. We are extremely happy with the final product. A bit of a hiccup with final billing, but we finally managed to get it sorted. We were very impressed with the workmen who came to install our new Skylight. They came early, were very pleasant to talk to and answered our questions before getting started. SkySpec did 2 skylights in a vaulted ceiling last summer and a sun tunnel 2022 spring. Very clean installs, on schedule, great technicians, excellent shingle work. We are very satisfied customers.

These guys did great work on our house! I work in construction, and I was wary of having just anyone cut into my roof and framing, which is why I went with Skylight Specialists. They are a certified Velux installer, and they work together with certified drywall company to provide full-service installation and repair. Our install was a little more complicated because we wanted a big skylight with a skylight well in our kitchen. It required some additional framing and moving of electrical, but the installers were professional and accommodating at every step. They put down and removed site protection every single day they were on site, and made sure to leave the space in usable condition at the end of each day. Our attic access is really small, but they never complained about having to crawl through the tight space. We got some minor pushback about filing a building permit with the city, but in the end, they handled the submittal and inspections for an additional fee as we discussed. In the end, it turned out even better than I imagined, and we are now considering adding a second skylight in our entry, as well as several Sun tunnels throughout the house. The complete installation took 2 days, with final drywall texturing and finishing happening a couple weeks after. Every time I stand in my kitchen, it makes me happy.

Great installer, he really left the place clean-- no drywall dust anywhere! There was a little mix up with what I wanted but they are working it out for us, and the sun tunnel made a massive difference in our space and it's much more enjoyable now.

I can't thank Josh and the people at Skylight Specialists enough!! My partner and I work on the frontlines and in the beginning of the pandemic, we were selected for a Sun Tunnel giveaway. As an NP, I was working 12-15 hours a day and as the cases of SARS-CoV-2 continued on, my partner was equally exhausted in her work as a therapist. We rarely saw the light of day during this time. Josh Hannon was incredibly patient and worked with us amid the chaos and our ever-changing hours for installation. The installer, Paul was incredible and the Sun Tunnel is just perfect, brightening up our once-dark farmhouse dining room! This was even more appreciated after I contracted the virus and ended up in the hospital, then quarantine and prolonged recovery, requiring oxygen at home. The added brightness helped as we had to put our beloved Goldendoodle down and the ray of light highlighted the many wonderful flowers we received from loved ones. It's been a difficult year and the muddy recovery from this virus is unrelenting, but I will be forever grateful for this gift of light- especially as we are now working from home as we can and the dining room is now my partner's office. I had a great experience from beginning to end. Josh came out to my house initially. He made his suggestions of what he thought might be best for the entrance of my hone but, of course, he left it up to me to make the final decision. I decided on a sun tunnel! James was the installer. He was on-time, friendly, professional and did a great job with the installation...even with the crazy winds we've had recently. A transformation I would not have expected in my wildest dreams. After having installed 2 large skylights & 2 sun tunnels, our house instantly turned into a light-flooded, happy home. I have used Skylight Specialists for many years now. I keep adding sun tunnels for more light in darker places in my home. They also put a very large skylight in my front room which made a world of difference. They all look wonderful and make my home so light and bright.
