They do it all and the other companies we spoke to don’t come on the inside of your house to do the finishing work. They definitely were a one stop shop for us! I called Joe out to replace two skylights. He was very informative and explained the options on the skylights so I would understand them. I had Joe install two 4 foot by 4 foot solar shade skylights. I highly recommend Velux's manual skylight installed by "Skylight Pros by Blue Bell" of Bala Cynwyd, PA. We recently had one installed in our interior Philadelphia rowhome & it has made a significant difference in the appearance, 'livability' and safety of our residence. Being an interior rowhome, our front door was the only point of egress for emergencies as our backyard has been blocked in by adjoining properties. Although we haven't prepped our roof surface for outdoor entertainment yet, simply having for interior sunlight for an increased sense of safety, reassures our decision for this improvement almost daily. Skylight Pros by Blue Bell installed four new Solar Powered Velux skilights in our family room. They have also replaced that portion of the roof with beautiful new shingles. Joe and Rita are very professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of roofing needs. They do everything possible to build a trusting relationship from day one, and to maintain that relationship long-term. This project went smoothly and was finished on time. Waitng on sufficient weather so they can come back and do the entire roof. Few of our neighbors also would their skylights replaced and roofs done by this company. In 2020 I put two Velux skylights in a newly acquired rental property. The first floor in this center-of-the-row house was very deep and felt like a bowling alley. It needed light in the middle. Fortunately the second floor only extended half way giving us the space to install skylights on the first floor. Again, these were not replacements, they were newly installed meaning that holes had to be cut in the roof and skylight shafts had to be constructed. Finally, a new roof had to be installed. I solicited two proposals, both with reputable companies. The proposals were similar in price. I went with Skylight Pros by Blue Bell because they are a skylight company that also does roofs rather than a roofing company that also does skylights. Joe Bailey was a pleasure to work with. In particular, he went to great lengths to protect the interior of the house while he was working on the skylight shafts. Similarly, his cleanup at the conclusion of the job was very thorough. Finally, his craftsmanship was excellent. Based on my good experience with Joe (and his wife Rita who runs the office), I asked him to put replacement skylights and a new flat roof on my residence in 2021. I did not even solicit a second proposal because I wanted Skylight Pros by Blue Bell to do the work on my residence. I received a very fair price. I replaced flat glass skylights with commercial acrylic pyramidal skylights. Joe brought out the Velux commercial representative to work out some technical details of this somewhat complex and unusual job. I appreciated Joe’s initiative to use this available resource. The skylights and roof were installed a couple of weeks ago and we are extremely happy with the results.
